问卷调查:Survey on Online Social Networks Usage and Platforms Trust Influence Factors Evaluations
Preface: Recent years, online social network (OSN), no matter of accessing to them by desktops,laptops, tablets or mobiles, etc, has already become a popular,critical and widely used platform on which Internet massive users could experience information propagation, exchange and sharing. It is well known for us that many typical general-purpose or special-purpose applications are extremely dramatic,like Facebook, Twitter、Google+、 YouTube、Instagram、Linkedi、Researchgate, as well as Wechat, micro-blogs, bolgs, Tencent Zone, Youku-Tudou Video in China.But,in these colorful online social network sits and their mobile apps developed to meet the requirements of billions of users, there still exist unsafe,insecure and untrustworthy platforms,plus dishonest, even malicious content (services) providers and users based on these questionable ones. For this, our original goal and main motivation of the survey lay emphasis on understanding and mastering the application status of online social network platforms for (mobile) Internet public, especially user perspectives and considerations on the influence factors and their influencing levels for establishing and improving an essential trust of OSN platforms. Here we gave four categories of platform trust influence factors from several aspects as platform availability, transparency, security and privacy, as well as quality guarantee. Besides, we listed six different levels of influencing platform trust evaluations, that are no influence, and little, medium, main,even significant levels, with uncertainty ending. In the following 40 questions, 1.1-1.7 refer to the survey on the platforms availability, 2.1-2.9 belong to the platforms transparency, 3.1—3.11 are within the scope of platforms security and privacy, and 4.1—4.8 for quality guarantee. The survey supports for both anonymous user and registered ones, and it’s much encouraged that user could register the Online Survey prior to beginning the survey. And then, please answer all survey questions one by one according to your daily experience and subjective judgment on OSNs available.The online survey was independently developed and held by our research group and research labs,and we will not absolutely open,reveal or transfer any data and personal information for any the third party (including commercial or non-profit organizations) ,for the sake of firmly protecting all data and registered user’security. Your work is very helpful for us to be engaged in cross-disciplinary studying on social media platform trust from both information technology and information management perspectives, as that is obviously meaningful and wider applicable.
